What it does
Blocking a customer makes ApnaBot ignore that number. The bot stops replying to them, their messages no longer appear in Replies, and they are left out of broadcasts and follow-ups. Unblocking brings everything back.
When to use it
Sharma Travels
A caller keeps sending rude messages and fake booking requests. Vikram blocks the number so his team stops seeing it.
Steps
Find the customer
Open Customers in the menu and search by name or number.
Block
On the customer's row, tap Block. The row shows a red Blocked badge right away.
Unblock
On the same row, the button now says Unblock. Tap it and the badge goes away. The customer is treated like any other customer again.
Example
storefrontSharma Travels
Vikram taps Block on the rude caller's row. Months later the caller apologises, so Vikram taps Unblock.
Good to know
- Blocking is only about ApnaBot. It doesn't block the number inside WhatsApp itself.
- If you only want a break from the bot for one customer, use Bot options → Pause 24h in Replies instead. See Pause the bot for one customer.
- A Blocked badge also shows at the top of that customer's page.
